Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Database and Information Systems Group

Our group continues to develop and provide platforms and solutions for
- data analysis and mining, including text and semistructured data, big data and stream data,
- data privacy and confidentiality issues,
- process management (aka workflow technology).

All this is based on previous work including the GoldenGATE editor for marking up documents and markup corrections and RefParse, a generic approach to bibliographic reference parsing and corrections. Many of our solutions have been the result of international collaboration projects such as ViBRANT.
