National Biodiversity Data Centre (Ireland)

The National Biodiversity Data Centre is a national organisation for the collection, collation, management, analysis and dissemination of data on Ireland's biological diversity. It has developed a web portal Biodiversity Maps http://maps.biodiversityireland.ie/ to provide access to biodiversity data for the island of Ireland and it's marine waters out to the 1,000km limit. In addition to managing the data portal, the Data Centre provides active support to the citizen science community and provides data management services to the public sector.
