Natural solutions

Natural Solutions is a French SME that aims to bridge the cultural gap that divides environmental scientists and software engineers. NS provides software solutions for improved management, presentation, exploration and analysis of biodiversity data. The team of Natural Solutions is composed of IT professionals, GIS engineers, bio-computer scientists and ecologists. All committed to work together to produce software for ecological community. Our solutions are currently used by research and conservation centers and ecological associations.
The R&D at Natural Solutions is focusing on biodiversity informatics, a young and rapidly growing field that brings information science and technologies to bear on the data and information generated by the study of organisms and their interactions (eBiosphere’09). Due to the large amount of biodiversity information available, their complexity and heterogeneity, it has become increasingly important to build efficient tools to tackle the information crisis. NS research aims to apply Web Semantic technologies to address these issues.
