Since 2003, I am active in the field of Biodiversity Informatics, and especially in the field of digital identification, and in the development of federated networks of primary biodiversity data and of species related information.

I am part of the long-term project Dryades (http://www.dryades.eu), which is devoted to the publication online of biodiversity data for several groups of organisms in Italy.
